For over fifty years Howard Training Center has been serving the needs of the community by changing and enhancing the lives of adults with disabilities. Howard Training Center Mission
To create opportunity and supports for individuals with disabilities to hold a meaningful place in the community to the fullest extent of their abilities.
With this mission comes intrinsic goals:
Educate the community to the value and contributions of people that are differently-abled.
Advocate for their rights and report mistreatment, abuse or neglect.
Promote successful inclusion and opportunities for people with disabilities facilitating advancement, achievement and joyful lives.
Additional Information
Howard Training Center works to achieve full inclusion of individuals with disabilities in the community through advocacy, the development of personal and occupational capabilities, and the expansion of opportunities for individuals through the development and delivery of well-designed programs and services, and consistent advocacy in the community.
