Wanted felon captured following 2-hour Modesto foot pursuit
MODESTO, Calif. - A man wanted for several felony warrants on weapons and drug-related violations was finally captured after a lengthy foot pursuit and search in West Modesto Tuesday morning.
Sergeant Brian Findlen said Modesto police officers began the search for Kinsino Salva, 29, at 1:14 a.m. on the 1200 block of Pine Tree Ln.
They attempted to make contact at 2:15 a.m., but Salva fled, going from roof to roof through the neighborhood, Findlen said.
At 3:02 a.m., officers, with the help of a K9 unit, caught Salva hiding under a spa at a home several lots down from the one in which he resides, said Findlen.
He was arrested and booked for his warrants, as well as new charges of resisting and delaying a police officer, and possession of a controlled substance.
