Pedestrian hit, killed by car in Modesto | News
MODESTO, Calif. - A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in Modesto Thursday morning.
California Highway Patrol spokesman Rich Wetzel said the incident occurred on Dakota Ave. north of SR 132 just before 6:15 a.m.
Dakota Rd. was closed between Blue Gum and Woodland due to the ensuing investigation, but was reopened around 7:30 a.m.
Wetzel did not indicate how the incident occurred.
