PROJECT:

Paving El Vista Avenue between Scenic Drive and Edgebrook Drive

STATUS:

Work is in progress. Project completion is expected for Thursday, September 20th.

IMPACT:

El Vista Avenue will be reduced to only one lane of travel each direction between Scenic Drive and Edgebrook Drive. Traffic delays are anticipated. Lane closures and lane shifts will be in place. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through the work zone and use alternate routes when possible.

PROJECT:

Carpenter Road Bridge Seismic Retrofit

STATUS:

Work is in progress. Project completion is expected in June 2013.

IMPACT:

Traffic controls are in place with narrow lanes. Traffic delays are anticipated during the day between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through the work zone and use alternate routes when possible. Oversized and Wide Load Vehicles should use alternate routes.

PROJECT:

Right Turn Lane Construction at Coffee Road and Floyd Avenue by Developer

STATUS:

Work is in progress. Project completion is expected by mid-September.

IMPACT:

Traffic controls will be in place between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Shoulder work will be along Floyd Avenue. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through the work zone and use alternate routes when possible.

PROJECT:

Gas Main Replacement by PG&E

STATUS:

Work is in progress. Work completion is expected by mid-September.

IMPACT:

Traffic controls will be in place. Lane closure and shifts will be along Dale Road from Bangs Avenue to Standiford Avenue from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the day and 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. during the night. Detours are in place. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through the work zone and use alternate routes when possible.

Fiber Optic Work by KinderMorgan

STATUS:

Work is in progress. Work completion is expected by Fall 2012.

IMPACT:

Traffic controls will be in place. Shoulder work and lane shifts will be intermittent on La Loma Avenue from Santa Barbara Avenue to Miller Avenue; Miller Avenue from La Loma Avenue to El Vista Avenue; and El Vista Avenue/Mitchell Road from Miller Avenue to Tuolumne River crossing. Motorists are requested to travel slowly through the work zone and use alternate routes when possible.
